The JR149 is a small speaker and getting good bass from a small unit is hard. Taking the aluminium cylinder enclose features of the JR149, the taller, floor standing, JR150 uses an audax 1" tweeter and two 110mm bass Audax HD13B 25H-2C12 16 ohm units. Much larger, more expensive and with stronger competition these where not as popular as the JR149.
